Concepts are taught using parts of the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting Teen Program (S.T.E.P./Teen) which is a nationally recognized program. The purpose of the S.T.E.P. program is to help parents reconsider their present methods of raising adolescents, and try methods that are taught using Rudolph Dreikurs and Adlerian (Alfred Adler) theories. These brilliant psychiatrists were ahead of their time and so appropriate for parents to better meet the challenges of raising adolescents in today’s world.
