Four DVUSD schools were just awarded Arizona Educational Foundation “A+ School of Excellence®'' for the 2022-23 school year.The four DVUSD schools named to the short list of 36 schools statewide were: Deer Valley High School, Legend Springs Elementary School, Sandra Day O’Connor High School and Sierra Verde STEAM Academy. This is the highest state-level award given to a public school in Arizona. A school that earns this award  demonstrates strong success in teaching and learning strategies, student achievement, leadership, and community integration on their campus.
