Several DVUSD high school and grade 7-8 teams and athletes were acknowledged for their achievements at the 17th annual Pursuing Victory with Honor ceremony at the district governing board room Monday, May 8th.
Following a color guard presentation by the Deer Valley High School Air Force JROTC and a performance of the National Anthem by the Mountain Ridge High School Chorus, attendees were treated to stories of perseverence in sports and life by DVUSD Superintendent Dr. Curtis Finch, and Deer Valley High School boys' basketball coach Jed Dunn.
