BCHS Principal's Communication-AZ Science State Testing Information

Good evening BCHS Families,

Spring break is upon us, but we also wanted to make sure you had upcoming testing information that starts the Tuesday after break.

AZ Science Testing

On Tuesday, March 21st, all Juniors will take the AZ Science test! The AZ Science test (AzSci) is the state-level assessment that measures student proficiency of the Arizona Academic Content Standards in Science. Testing begins for Juniors at the normal start time, 7:30am. All other students will start school four hours later.

It is extremely important for all Juniors to test on March 21st. Juniors who are absent on March 21st will test on one of the makeup days and miss a day of classes.

Transportation Changes:

  • Junior students who ride regular or special service buses will catch their bus at the regular time.
  • Regular buses will pick up 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students 4 hours later than their normal pick up time.
  • Special Service buses uses will pick up Freshmen, Sophomore, and Senior students at their normal time

Please reach out if you have any questions about the Arizona Science Test.

Have a wonderful day!

Sincerely,

Brittany Sutton
